Folks in Norfolk

The trip to Norfolk was long and tiring, but here's the good part:

• Very nice weather,
• Norfolk's botanical garden and Newport News Park,
• Flowering pear trees,
• Waffle House (pecan waffles and the world's leading server of hash browns!),
• Friendly people everywhere,
• A chance to explore the ODU campus,
• Good sandwiches in the Arena,
• A Lady Monarchs fan who volunteered an apology for the 1997 game,
• Sitting by Amber's family during the Monday game,
• Successful Stanford basketball,
• Good FBC friends (sorry some of you missed this trip!)
